The area is beautifully tranquil, perfect for leisurely bike rides. Our spacious room offered a comfortable bed and good Wi-Fi, which my kids appreciated for their downtime. One of my favorite features was the small kitchen available. It was convenient to have a fridge stocked with cold drinks and a honor cash box system, making it easy to keep track of our purchases. Breakfast was satisfactory, with made-to-order eggs, fresh bread, coffee, and juice. Even though I don’t speak German, the owner was very accommodating and ensured we felt at home. Beyond the hotel, we explored the nearby MüritzTherme, which was a hit with the kids, and took a thrilling ride down the Summer Toboggan Run. The whole family adored our outing at the Monkey Forest—watching the playful primates was unforgettable! In summary, Zur Schamper is a solid choice for families seeking a friendly atmosphere and a great base for exploring the area.
